Day 01: Arrival Ben Gurion – Tel Aviv

Upon arrival to Ben Gurion Airport, our guide will assist us through customs and passport control. Transfer to our hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Caesarea – Mt. Carmel – Megiddo – Nazareth – Tiberias

After breakfast we will start our day with visiting the following biblical sites: Caesarea Maritima, the springboard of Christianity to the West (Acts 9 & 25), Mt. Carmel (1 Kings. 18) , Megiddo (Armageddon; 1 Kgs. 9:15; Rev. 16:16), Nazareth – Mount of Precipice (Luke 1 & 2). We continue to Tiberias to check into our hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Sea of Galilee – Baptismal Site

This morning we rise at our hotel on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Start the day with boat ride, then we visit the ancient Jesus boat, on to visit Mt of Beatitude, Korazin, Capernaum, Peters Primacy ending the day at the Yardenit Baptismal site for renewal for baptismal vows. Overnight and dinner in Tiberias.

Day 04: Tel Dan – Banias – Golan Heights – Mt. Bental – Katzrin

Today will include many biblical sites in the Upper Jordan Valley: Hazer (Josh. 11:10; 1 Kgs. 9:15), Tell Dan and the Nature Reserve, Border of Lebanon (Josh. 11:17), view Mt. Hermon (Deut. 3:8), Caesarea Philippi (Paneas; Mark 8:27), The road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19) in the Golan Heights (Bashan) and will visit Mt. Bental. We continue to Qatzrin to explore the ancient synagogue. Return to Hotel for Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 05: Beat Shean – Bet Arabah – Allenby – Amman

After breakfast we will visit Bet She’an, the Disneyland of archeology and also where the bodies of King Saul and his sons were taken and mutilated after their death in battle. Visit Kasr El Yahud “Bet Arabah” (the traditional site of the Baptismal Site). Cross the Allenby Bridge into Jordan. Onto Medaba, Mt. Nebo, then drive to Amman for dinner and overnight.

Day 06: Petra

After breakfast, we begin a long day of driving through the Jordanian desert along the area called the Way of the Kings. On our way we will visit Petra. The “rose red city half as old as time,” This ancient Edomite and Nabatean capital is an amazing example of prophecy. We’ll see the spectacular “city of the dead,” with its famed gorge, ancient streets, temples, dwelling places and tombs, carved in the solid rock. Then we arrive at El-Ji Post, and continue the one-mile journey on horseback, or walk, passing through the famous Siq (the natural gorge) and arrive at the Treasury. Overnight in Petra, dinner will be served at our hotel.

Day 07: Petra – Allenby – Jericho – Jerusalem

This morning depart Petra to Allenby Bridge. Lunch on your own. Cross the Allenby Bridge. Visit Jericho to include Tel Jericho where the city of Jericho stood at the time of Joshua, view Mt of Temptation and pass by the Sycamore tree that remind us of Jesus encounter with Zacheus. Start our ascent to Jerusalem. View the Holy City from Mt Scopus before check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem.

Day 08: Mt. of Olives – Old City – Holy Sepulchre – Israel Museum

Today we begin our tour with an orientation of the City of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives where our guide will point the most important sites in Jerusalem. Then we continue our walk on the Palm Sunday road to reach the Dominus Flevit. Then we will go to Gethsemane with its ancient olive grove, and there visit the Church of Agony, where Jesus prayed and was arrested (private time will be given in the private section of the Garden). Then continue to the Old City to visit the Ecce Homo Church, and then we will walk the Stations of the Cross in the Old City. End of the day will be visiting the Israel Museum, including a 1:50 scale model of Jerusalem at the time of Herod the Great and the Shrine of the Book Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. Dinner at hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 09: Temple Mount – Wailing Wall – Western Wall tunnel – St. Anne’s – Herodion – Bethlehem –

  Shepherd’s Field

We will ascend the Temple Mount, discussing its connection to both the Old and New Testaments. We will also discuss why it is considered the third holiest site in Islam. Leaving the Temple Mount through the chain gate to visit the Wailing Wall Judaism holiest place. Enter the western wall tunnel where we learn about the architecture of the Temple esplanade built by Herod the great and reach the warren gate where we would be but few yards from where the Holy of the Holies have stood. Exit the western tunnel we proceed to visit the Church of St. Anne’s, a perfectly intact Crusader church. It is a wonderful place to gather and sing a song (sometimes with fellow Christians from all over the world). There, we will also visit the pools of Bethesda where the healing at the pool took place (John 5). Continue to visit Herodion. End of the day will be visiting Bethlehem & Shepherd’s Field. Time will be given for some Shopping in Bethlehem. Dinner and Overnight Jerusalem.

Day 10: City of David – Masada – Ein Gedi – Qumran – Dead Sea – Jerusalem

This morning we start the day with visit of City of David and Pools of Siloam. Depart along the Judean wilderness to visit Masada, where we will ascend high upon the wilderness mountain by way of the cable car to the fortress built by King Herod. Here we survey the ruins of the fortifications, waterworks, synagogue, temples and palaces. Following the road north along the western shore of the Dead Sea, we will stop at the field school for an overview of Ein Gedi where David hid from King Saul (I Samuel 24). Continuing north, we will stop at Qumran and the possible settlement of the first century sect known as the Essenes, the authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls. End of the day will be at the Dead Sea floating in the water. Dinner and overnight at Jerusalem.

Day 11: Davidson Centre – St. Peter in Galicantu – Jewish Quarter – Check out from hotel – Garden Tomb

Start the day by visiting the excavations are Davidson Centre the main entrance to the Temple and the Teaching steps where Rabbis such Gamaliel used to teach. Depart to visit St. Peter in Galicantu where Peter denied our lord. We will also visit the Last Supper Room. Then we continue to Jewish Quarter. Return to our hotel to refresh and check out at noontime. End of the day will be visiting the Garden Tomb.

Then we will depart afternoon to Jaffa for a visit and a farewell dinner in a local restaurant. Then we depart to Ben Gurion airport for flight back home!
