Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Departure to Cairo
Register Allianz Insurance
Day 2: Arrival in Cairo - Transfer to the Hotel in Cairo
Arrive Cairo airport. Meet and assist. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (D)
Day 3: Sakkara-Imhotep Museum – National Museum of Civilization Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo
Visit the Step pyramid of Sakkara which is the first pyramid ever built. Visit Imhotep museum. Next, visit Dahshour pyramid and the National Museum of Civilization where you get the chance to see the royal mummies of the ancient Egyptian kings. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Great Pyramids – Egyptian Museum- Old Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Visit the Great Pyramids and sphinx at Giza plateau. On to visit the Egyptian museum at Tahrir square to see the masterpieces like the Tut Ankh Amun’s mask and several other masterpieces. On to visit Old Cairo churches including St. Sergio where the Holy family stayed, the Hanging church and Ben Ezra synagogue. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Luxor – Karnak Temple – Luxor Museum
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Fly to Luxor, a city known as the open air museum due to the abundance of monuments as it includes 1/3 of the world’s monuments. Visit Karnak temple . Check in at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy the visit to Luxor museum which is lit at night. Dinner and overnight in Luxor. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Valley of Kings- Temple of Queen Hatchepsut- Flight to Cairo Breakfast at the hotel in Luxor
Visit the valley of Kings where you get to admire 3 colorful tombs of the royal kings. On to visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatchepsut. Fly back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (B,L,D)
Day 7: Day of Leasure in Sharm El Sheikh
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo. Drive to Sharm El Sheikh. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the Red Sea shore. Dinner and overnight in Sharm El Sheikh. (B,L,D)
Day 8: St. Catherines – Burning Bush- Moses Well
Breakfast box. Drive to St. Catherine. Visit St. Catherine’s monastery which is open from 9-11:30 am. View the burning bush where God spoke to Moses and Moses well. View the mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Fly back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (B,L,D)
Day 9: Departure to USA
Departure back into the USA. (B)
