THURSDAY (March 21)-Leave the USA on an international flight to Tel Aviv
FRIDAY (March 22) Day 1: TEL AVIV/JAFFA
Arrive Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, stop at Jaffa where and discuss the story of Jonah as we drive to the hotel for overnight.
SATURDAY (March 23) Day 2: TEL AVIV/ CAESAREA/HAIFA/ NAZARETH/ CANA/ TZIPPORI/ TIBERIAS
After breakfast and depart to Caesarea (Included)to visit the Crusader’s Castle and restored Roman Amphitheatre from the time of Pilate and Paul’s imprisonment. Continue to Haifa and drive up Mt. Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and port, River Kishon and the Mediterranean. Drive to Nazareth and visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well, then to Cana where Christ performed His first miracle. End the day with a visit to Tzippori (Included), a prosperous town near Nazareth at the time of Jesus and where many believe the Virgin Mary was born. Drive to Tiberias to check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.
SUNDAY (March 24) Day 3: TIBERIAS BOAT RIDE/ CAPERNAUM/MOUNT OF BEATITUDES/ CEASAREA PHILIPPI/ YARDENIT
Take a boat (Included) from Tiberias to Capernaum (Included)to see an ancient synagogue and Peter’s House which was later converted to a church. Visit Tabgha, site of the miracle of the Loaves and Fishes. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount is remembered. Proceed to Caesarea Philippi (Included), where Peter said “Thou art the Christ. Our final visit today will be at Yardenit on the Jordan River where many pilgrims participate in baptism ceremonies. Return to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
MONDAY (March 25) Day 4: MEGIDDO/ SAMARIA/ JACOB’S WELL/ JERUSALEM
After breakfast, visit Megiddo (Included), one of Solomon’s Chariot cities, to see the excavations and the Plain of, then continue to Samaria, visit the excavations at Sebastian and the see the remains of the palace where Salome danced and asked for the head of John the Baptist. On to Nablus and see the Samaritan Synagogue and they will have on display the Pentateuch, which is the 5 books of Moses of the Old Testament, view Mt. Eba) and Mt. Gerizim, where the Samaritans celebrate the Feast of Passover. Stop at Jacob’s Well, where Christ conversed with the Samaritan woman and on to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
TUESDAY (March 26) Day 5: JERICHO/ QUMRAN/ MASADA/ JERUSALEM
Depart to Jericho and tour of Jericho to include the excavations of the oldest city in the world (Included). Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada (Included), the last stronghold of Jewish resistance to the Romans. Take the cable car up to the site to see Herod’s palaces and the baths. Continue to Qumran (Included) where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. End the day at your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
WEDNESDAY (March 27) Day 6: TEMPLE AREA/ WESTERN WALL TUNNELS/ ST. ANNE/ UPPER ROOM
Enter the Old City and visit the Western Wall and Temple Area with the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock. Visit the Rabbinical Tunnel (Included). See the Pool of Bethesda where the angel ruffled the water and St. Anne’s Church (Included), the traditional birthplace of Jesus’ mother. Drive to Mt. Zion, Upper Room. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
THURSDAY (March 28) Day 7: MOUNT OF OLIVES/ GETHSEMANE/ KIDRON VALLEY/ BETHLEHEM
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. See the place of Ascension, the Pater Noster Church, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, and the Palm Sunday road. Drive down -the Kidron Valley to see the Pool of Siloam (Included), and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu (Included). Continue to Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity and the cave-stable of Jesus’ birth. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
FRIDAY (March 29) Day 8: JERUSALEM/ GARDEN TOMB
Worship service at the Garden Tomb where you will then have the balance of the day at leisure to explore this ancient city. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Note: Bus /Guide are on half day
SATURDAY (March 30) Day 9: TEL AVIV/ USA
This morning transfer to the airport for your flight back home with unforgettable memories.
