Detailed Itinerary

Sunday, October 30: Depart the USA for Israel - the trip of a lifetime begins!

Monday, October 31: Arrive in Tel Aviv! We’ll meet our local guide and stop by the ancient city of Jaffa on our way to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Tel Aviv.

Tuesday, November 1: Journey north up the Mediterranean Coast to see some incredible ancient ruins and make our way into the region of Galilee – where Jesus was raised and began his earthly ministry. We’ll have dinner and begin our two night stay in Tiberias - on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Wednesday, November 2: Begin the day with a breathtaking boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and spend the day on its northern shore – from Capernaum to Magdala. We’ll end the day on the banks for the Jordan River at a site where those who wish to may be baptized in the Jordan.

Thursday, November 3: Make our way to the east side of the Jordan – to Caesarea Philippi. From there, we’ll spend the day working our way south to Jericho and then up to Jerusalem! We’ll unpack our bags here for the remainder of the journey.

Friday, November 4: Set out from Jerusalem and travel through the wilderness of Judea, the place where Jesus was tempted. We’ll continue south and take in some spectacular sites along the way, from the ancient fortress of Masada to a moving stop at the oasis of Ein Gedi, where David took shelter from King Saul. We’ll arrive at the Dead Sea, where we’ll have an unforgettable weightless swim in its waters!

Saturday, November 5: After breakfast at our hotel and an overview of Jerusalem, we will travel just a few miles south for some amazing moments in the City of Bethlehem. After lunch, we’ll head back to the Old City to experience a worship service together on the Southern Steps of the Temple Mount.

Sunday, November 6: The day begins with a visit to the Temple Mount – the site of the ancient (and future) Hebrew Temple, and the most important land in the entire world. We’ll experience an Israeli meal at midday unlike any you’ve ever had – and we’ll take part in its preparation! Stroll through the Old City of Jerusalem as we take in an array of meaningful sites you’ve read about all your life.

Monday, November 7: The last day in Jerusalem is the pinnacle of the journey together, as we follow the journey of Jesus leading to his death and resurrection. Beginning in the Garden of Gethsemane and leading to a special communion service at the Garden Tomb, this is a day that combines robust teaching and life-changing moments. We’ll end the day with a farewell dinner at our hotel.

Tuesday, November 8: After breakfast, we’ll travel to the airport to board our flights home – and you will never read the Bible the same again!

For those who wish to add even more adventure to your journey, we’re excited to host a three-day extension November 8-11, 2022. This time East of the Jordan River includes visits to Mount Nebo, Petra, and the eastern shore of the Dead Sea. You’ll stay two nights in Petra and one night in Amman before returning home with whole new perspective on the vastness of God’s work in this magnificent region!
