Day 1 – Monday, December 30, 2024: Depart USA To Israel
Day 2 – Tuesday, December 31, 2024: Arrival to Tel Aviv – Transfer to hotel in Herzliya
Today, we will visit ancient Joppa and consider the story of Jonah along with Peter's vision at Simon the tanner's house. Transfer to our hotel. Hotel (B, D)
Day 3 – Wednesday, January 01, 2025: Jezreel Valley and the Sea of Galilee
Today, we will visit Caesarea Maritima considered the springboard of Christianity to the West. We will then visit Mt. Carmel and consider the story of Elijah (I Kings 18). Lunch Included. We then travel to Megiddo before we end the day at the Valley of the Doves. Arrive at the Sea of Galilee, sunset boat ride. (B, L D)
Day 4 – Thursday, January 02, 2025: Sea of Galilee and Golan Height
Today, we will begin our day at Capernaum, one of the cities that made up the Gospel Triangle and where Jesus spent a lot of time. We will then go to the Mt. Of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given before we go on to Peter’s Primacy where Jesus appeared to the disciples the third time after the Resurrection. Lunch Included ( St Peter's Fish). We will then visit Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdala before we go on to Caesarea Philippi and consider the confession of Peter in Christ (Matthew 16). Time permitting we will stop at Hazor. (B, L D)
Day 5 – Friday, January 03, 2025: Sea of Galilee and Nazareth
Today, we start the day at Nazareth Village - 2 hours. We will then visit Mary’s Spring, the original spring of ancient Nazareth before we go to the Mount of Precipice, the brow of the city on which the city was built. Lunch Included. We will then travel to Gadara where the miracle of the Gergasene demonic took place. We will end our day at the Peace Vista lookout with an amazing view of the Sea of Galilee. (B, L D)
Day 6 – Saturday, January 04, 2025: Beth Shean, Beit Araba, Jordan Valley, Jericho, Dead Sea Gideon Springs
Today, we start the day Bet Shean with its magnificent Roman ruins. We will then travel to Beth Araba where the Baptismal place is located. Lunch Included. We will then travel to Jericho to visit the ruins there (Time to shop). Depart for Dead Sea, afternoon at leisure Dead Sea (B, L D)
Day 7 – Sunday, January 05, 2025: Dead Sea – Masada – Ein Gedi – Qumran – Wadi Quilt – Jerusalem
Today, we start our day at Masada and consider the confrontation between the Zealots and the Roman at this important fortress. We will then continue to Ein Gedi where Saul and David had a confrontation (I Samuel 24). We will then continue to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Lunch Included. We will then make a stop Wadi Qilt, also known as the Valley of the shadow of death before we ascend to Jerusalem (B, L D)
Day 8 – Monday, January 06, 2025: Israel Museum, Valley of Elah, Shepherds’ Field, Bethlehem
Today, we will start our day at the Israel Museum where the model of Jerusalem from the year 66 AD is located along with the Dead Sea Scrolls. We will then travel to the Valley of Elah where David confronted Goliath. We will then continue to Shepherd's Fields where the angels appeared the the shepherds and announced the birth of Jesus Lunch Included. We will then visit the Church of the Nativity where Our Lord was born. Bethlehem (time to shop). (B, L D)
Day 9 – Tuesday, January 07, 2025: Jerusalem
Today, we will start our tour on the Temple Mount. We will then continue to the Pools of Bethesdawhere the healing at the pools took place (John 5). We will also get a chance to sing a song the crusader church of St. Ann's. We will then continue to the Mount of Olives for an overview o the City of Jerusalem before we walk on the Triumphal Entry path. We will then continue to the City of David, the original location of the city of Jerusalem along with many other archaeological finds including Hezekiah's Tunnel. Lunch Included. We will then visit the Western Wall and the Southern Wall where the teaching steps are located. (B, L D)
Day 10 – Wednesday, January 08, 2025:: Jerusalem, The Passion of Christ
Today we will follow the Passion of Christ beginning at the Upper Room where the Last Supper took place. We will then travel to the Garden of Gethsemane and have some private time at the private garden for prayer and meditation. We will then follow the Kidron Valley House of Caiaphas, the high priest at the time of Jesus. We will then go to the Praetorium and stand on the stones where Jesus stood trial before Pilate before we end our day at the Garden Tomb for a visit and communion (B, L D)
Day 11 – Thursday, January 09, 2025: Travel home
